The Indian steel ministry has called an open house consultation session on Oct 27, 2025 where various steel producers and associations can bring their views forward.
This move comes in line with various concerns raised by the domestic steel industry as well as RBI, claiming that cheap steel imports from global producers is affecting the domestic steel sector. The expected objective of this consultation session is to come up with suitable policy that could mitigate the risk looming on the domestic steel industry.
