Maharashtra Seamless has announced a capex of INR 850 crore in its earning call. The capex will be utilised in a number of projects, including the cold drawing line with an estimated cost of INR 100 crore and a finishing line in Telangana.
The other projects have not yet been disclosed by the company. The equipment of the cold drawn line has already been ordered and will be delivered in the later part of the calendar year. The company commenced its work on the finishing line in Telangana last year and the work is still ongoing.
Kaushal Bengani, Deputy General Manager of Maharashtra Seamless said, ”Once these 2 items are completed, then we will get back to you on the timeline for other items.”

The company has an order book of INR 1,584 crore, which includes an ERW pipes order worth INR 54 crore and a seamless pipes project for INR 1,530 crore.
