Recent Developments
Recent milestones include successful bids on several projects within the oil sector, including a significant order for subsea pipeline construction slated for the first quarter of the upcoming financial year. Notably, we’ve completed a rigorous API audit for drill pipes and are actively enhancing our processes, technologies, and capacity utilization. Over the past 3-4 years, we’ve achieved groundbreaking developments, including the supply of drill pipes and subsea pipelines to ONGC, gas cylinder pipes to major cylinder manufacturers, and the production of thin-walled (Schedule 20) pipes in larger diameters of 10 inch and 12 inch.
Future Plans
In the short term, our strategic objectives involve achieving organic growth by expanding our market share in exports, introducing more value-added products, improving our operational facilities, incorporating automation to upgrade our technology, and penetrating the market for drill pipes. Additionally, we’re consolidating our production capacity with a heightened emphasis on enhancing the production of cold-drawn seamless pipes and tubes, premium connections, and the capacity of our H.T. plant. We’re also committed to producing higher-grade products such as P-9 and P-91 alloy steel pipes and tubes. Looking ahead, we plan to complement our existing 3LPE coating capabilities by establishing a cement mortar coating facility for seamless pipes, which are currently supplied as bare pipes for subsea pipeline applications. Furthermore, we’re directing our efforts toward producing premium connections and exploring potential collaboration opportunities.
