Maynards Group of Companies today announced the acquisition of the operations of Amsterdam-based Hilco Industrial Acquisitions (HIA), expanding Maynards’ capabilities in heavy-industrial asset acquisition, valuation, project management and monetization. The deal will take effect from 30th October 2026.
The wider European Hilco businesses and the Hilco Commercial-Industrial business, led by Brent Bonham, do not form part of the transaction, and remains a core part of Hilco Global.
Robert Bouland and 16 members of HIA’s industrial asset management and execution team, which specializes in steel industry assets outside of North America, will join Maynards from 30th October 2026. Based in Amsterdam and Seoul, the team brings decades of experience executing complex industrial steel projects worldwide.
The acquired operations will become part of Maynards Heavy Industries BV, combining HIA’s heavy-industry expertise and international relationships with Maynards’ global marketplace, valuation capabilities, financial resources and transaction execution platform.
