Surya Roshni Limited is accelerating its steel capacity expansion, with multiple projects aimed at increasing production, strengthening its DFT and section pipe portfolio, and expanding its presence in South India. The company is commissioning three new DFT mills across its Gujarat, Malanpur and Bahadurgarh plants between August and December 2026. The expansion is focused on DFT and section pipes, supporting Surya Roshni’s strategy of increasing its value-added product mix.

For the next phase of expansion, Surya Roshni is strengthening its presence in South India. It has acquired an additional 10 acres of land adjacent to its existing Hindupur facility, where a four-mill setup is planned. The first mill is scheduled for commissioning in January 2027, with an investment of around INR 60 crore. The expansion is expected to add nearly 3 lakh tonnes of capacity at the location.
