The new Galvanizing Iron (GI) manufacturing plant at Balanagar in Mahbubnagar district will increase VSTL’s capacity in Telangana from 24,000 MTPA to 48,000 MTPA.

Vibhor Steel Tubes Limited (VSTL), leading manufacturer and supplier of steel pipes & tubes to various heavy engineering industries in India, has recently inaugurated a new Galvanizing Iron (GI) manufacturing plant at Balanagar in Mahbubnagar district of Telangana.
With the commissioning of this new facility, VSTL’s capacity in the state will double from 24,000 MTPA to 48,000 MTPA. The newly-built manufacturing unit will increase the production of crash barriers which are widely used on medians, shoulders, verges and high embankments. This marks a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing expansion and commitment to quality & timely delivery.
Mr. Vijay Kaushik, Chairman and Executive Director, Vibhor Steel Tubes, said, “The government had recently revealed that the second round of the PLI scheme for specialty steel has attracted investment commitments to the tune of INR 17,000 crore. At Vibhor, we have been continuously diversifying our product basket by rolling out several value-added offerings such as crash barriers and monopoles. The foray into new product segments and increasing share of exports is likely to give a significant boost to our revenues in the coming quarters.”

With a total capacity of 2,21,000 MTPA, VSTL supplies its products to western and southern markets in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
