The latest BMZ 6 CNC tube bender by WAFIOS, a compact machine which can bend small parts from tube or wire up to an OD of 6 mm, has been developed for minute parts such as the ones used in medical technology for cannulas. The modular design of the BMZ 6 allows for the production of highly complex component geometries through combining various bending processes. For example, closed bends with 360 degrees can be wound around a mandrel, or large radii can be produced by free-form bending.

The machine is also designed to allow further integration of processing steps like end forming. With its iQinspect software feature, the bender can be connected directly to the external measuring devices. The automatic correction of the bending program based on the measurement results helps the operator set up even complex geometries quickly.
